From compact small dogs like Dachshunds to larger dog breeds like the Labrador Retriever, a curly-coated Poodle, or even gentle giants like Mastiffs, a Great Dane, or an Irish Wolfhound – we don’t discriminate on size! Every single pooch gets the VIP treatment.

A true haven for dog owners

We absolutely love it when four-legged friends stay with us! We provide a pet-friendly hotel room complete with cosy dog beds and a water bowl for your pooch. Our rooms all feature fully equipped kitchens, making it incredibly easy to prepare meals or specific dog food.

Queen’s Park is a stone’s throw from our hometel. It’s the perfect green space for dog walks with your canine companion. You can park on-site in our private car park from £13 per night and we’ve got EV charging facilities for our guests too.

All dog breeds are welcome in our café and bar, Winnie’s, but please keep them on a lead.

Hometel rules for your canine companion

We are always happy for you and your canine companion to stay with us! Domestic dogs under 35kg are welcome. If you have a different kind of pet, or a larger pooch, just reach out to us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

A one-off charge of £25 (inc. VAT) per stay applies for non-Hometel Club members. We love all furry (and non-furry) companions and want to make sure you have an enjoyable stay with us.

Queen’s Park is right by our hometel in Southampton city centre. The New Forest National Park is a short drive away and it’s a wonderful place to explore with your canine companion. Many beaches in Hampshire are dog-friendly like Hurst Spit near Keyhaven and Hordle Cliff near Milford-on-Sea.

This is the second time we have stayed in the hotel, and the service of the staff remains at a very high level. They will always aim to meet your needs, and ensure that your stay is what you had expected. We had a problem with our room, and they immediately sorted it out, and helped us move to another room to avoid any further inconvenience. We travel with our dog, and they always provide a wonderful and supportive environment to ensure she is happy and relaxed.
