Our rooms are designed to be lived in, whatever you may be using them for. From little guests to big guests to furry friends. Everyone is welcome at room2. With plenty of space for you and your family or extra comfort if you’re a solo traveller. Our spaces are fully optimised for comfort and well-being, with huge kitchens to cook up a feast and desks perfect for working from.
When you book a room with us we think it should be yours for a whole day. 24 hours. It’s crazy that other hotels only give you 21 hours. With us, check in is at 2pm and out at 2pm, it’s yours for the day – use it how you wish.
Having to disrupt your family’s routine while you’re travelling is such a hassle. That’s why we’ve included kitchens in all our rooms which allow families to eat what they want, when they want. Not bothered to cook? Pop down to Winnie’s café & bar or order a takeaway to eat in your room.
No one tells you what to do in your own home and that’s exactly how it is at room2. We’ve created a thoughtfully designed environment for a living experience that’s suits you. Here’s what you can expect:
The Hometel Club members get the choice of either a soft or firm mattress.
Washing and ironing: Hate to do it, but can’t live without it. Located on the ground floor, our laundry room is open for guests to use.
We want you to be able to bring your entire family, so we’re 100% pet friendly. Just let us know beforehand and we’ll be ready.
A box that’s full of all the bits you occasionally need… sellotape, batteries, sewing kit, games and more. We’ve got one in every room, help yourself.
Our rooms consist of a king size bed or two single beds (zip and link). Families of 3 rooms will consist of one king size bed and a roll-away bed suitable for children up to the age of 12. Families of 4 will be best suited to our loft rooms which consist of a king size bed and mezzanine floor with futon double bed for 2 children over the age of 8 or 2 adults.
Open to guests and locals, Winnie’s is your friendly neighbourhood café & bar. Join us for delicious food, snacks and zero waste cocktails. You'll also find the pantry here which is home to a few handy ingredients.

Daily Spruce – A daily room refresh, where we will change the bins, collect dirty towels (should you wish) and tidy the bed.
Full weekly clean – Should we be lucky enough to be hosting you for 7 nights or more, we will refresh all your linen weekly or if staying for less than 14 days the midpoint of your stay.
