Carbon neutral

PAS 2060 is an internationally recognised specification for carbon neutrality. It sets out the requirements for quantifying, reducing and offsetting greenhouse gas emissions for organisations and products. This means we've meticulously measured and offset our carbon footprint for room2 Hammersmith in accordance with the standard’s requirements, verified by BSI, for 2022. We will continue to reduce our emissions internally, in alignment with the Science-based Targets Initiative and offset residual emissions.

Green Tourism Gold Award

We achieved Gold rating by Green Tourism (the highest rating available). Green Tourism is an internationally acknowledged certification and an indicator of good environmentally-friendly practice. The process targets 15 principles across People, Planet and Places, making sure that we include all parts of our business.

Fuelled by renewables

All the building's electricity comes from certified renewable sources like wind, solar and hydro offsite.

Court yard & bug hotel

The courtyard promotes biodiversity, provides herbs for your cooking and a home for insects and bugs.

Refillable toiletries

The toiletries are vegan certified and smell delicious. The recycled, refillable bottles create less plastic and contain all organic and natural ingredients without any nasties.
