It may feel like Christmas was only moments ago, but the Easter holidays will be upon us any minute. That means school holidays, overindulging in chocolate treats and a leisurely long weekend with two bank holidays. This year, Easter weekend is from Good Friday on 3rd April to Easter Monday on 6th April 2026.

How will you spend the lovely, long spring weekend? It could be about quality family time following Easter trails and looking for the Easter bunny and chocolate eggs. Maybe its less about family fun and more about relaxing and exploring somewhere new.

Spring breathes new life into West London. Cherry blossoms appear along quiet streets. The Thames Path fills with walkers. And the local gardens and parks awaken to host Easter egg hunts, family trails and relaxed long-weekend wanderings.

Whether you’re travelling with kids or enjoying a slower Easter break in West London, there’s plenty happening nearby. We’ve checked out what’s on in and around Chiswick this Easter. And there’s a whole heap of fun Easter activities to be enjoyed.
